Six Pappas Stations To Be Auctioned

Bids for the stations, all in Nebraska, are due by 5 p.m. on Oct. 19, with the auction set for Oct. 27

Subject to court approval, David Stapleton, trustee of the Pappas Liquidating Trust, will be accepting bids in connection with the sale of six Nebraska television stations formerly owned by Pappas Telecasting, which filed for bankruptcy in 2008.

The stations are: KFXL Lincoln, KHGI Kearney, KHGI-LD O’Neill, KWNB Hayes Center, KWNB-LD, McCook and KHGI-CD North Platte.

Qualified Bids must be submitted by 5 p.m. ET on Oct. 19. An auction for the assets (if necessary) will take place at 10 a.m. ET on Oct. 27 at the offices of Pepper Hamilton LLP, Hercules Plaza, Suite 5100, 1313 Market Street, Wilmington, Del.

Any party wishing to participate in the process and submit a bid for the assets must submit a bid to the Liquidating Trustee, David Stapleton ([email protected]), to Frank Higney of Kalil ([email protected]) and to counsel for the liquidating trustee, David Stratton ([email protected]), prior to the bid deadline.
