‘Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court’ Back For Season 3

Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court will have its third season premiere on Monday, Sept. 21. The syndicated courtroom series, produced by 79th & York Entertainment and distributed by Orion TV Productions, features the presiding judge Lauren Lake who helps litigants resolve legal issues involving paternity using DNA results.

As the courtroom series enters its third season, Orion TV has announced two major station upgrades, one in San Francisco, where it moves to CBS-owned KBCW and the other in Charlotte, N.C., where it will air on Cox Broadcasting’s Fox affiliate WAXN.

Throughout this year and in planning for season three, more than a dozen affiliates in major markets including Chicago (WCIU), Atlanta (WUPA), Tampa (WTOG), Houston (KUBE), Orlando (WKCF), Las Vegas (KPVM, MPVM, NVCW), Memphis (WLMT) and Tulsa (KQCW) have been running the program three or four times per day in various time periods and across their duopolies.

During its premiere week, Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court will feature a celebrity-themed episode with BET reality stars Frankie and Elite who star in the reality series Frankie & Neffe. The mother and daughter appear in an episode revealing DNA test results for Elite and reuniting them with Lake, who served as their motivational coach on a previous season of their BET show.

Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court offers litigants the chance to resolve their differences and make it through the emotionally charged moment of discovery, while offering advice and counseling to help them integrate the outcome into their lives. The series also lends support to litigants after the show, offering family counseling as well as funding for GED diplomas, college tuition and nursing school expenses.

WAXN in Charlotte is not a Fox affiliate. I saw this same mistake in another publication.

My weekday daytime TV watching does not include WKCF, which IMO, has the WORST daytime programming in the Orlando/Daytona Beach/Melbourne market.
