HME Equity Closes On Purchase Of 3 LPTVs

The group has completed its $23.75 million buy of W33BY-D Detroit, WMJF-CD Towson, Md. (Baltimore) and WBNF-CD Buffalo, N.Y., from LocusPoint Networks.

HME Equity Fund II (Seth Ellis, Managing Partner) has closed on its purchase of three low-power stations from LocusPoint Networks (Bill deKay, CEO, Ravi Potharlanka, president ) for $23.75 million.

The stations: W33BY-D Detroit (DMA 13), WMJF-CD Towson, Md. (DMA 26) and WBNF-CD Buffalo, N.Y. (DMA 52).

W33BY-D operates with 4 kw on Ch. 33 with an antenna of 213 feet AGL. WMJF-CD operates with 5 kw on ch. 39 with an antenna of 374 feet. WBNF-CD operates with 15 kw on ch. 15 and an antenna of 554 feet.
