Tim Bock Named Dick Clark Prods. Production SVP

Television production executive Tim Bock has been named senior vice president of production for Dick Clark Productions, it was announced today.

Bock will oversee production for the company’s roster of shows which includes American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest and a variety of other projects. He will be based at the company’s Santa Monica, Calif., headquarters and will report to Amy Thurlow, chief operating officer and chief financial officer.

“Tim brings with him more than 20 years of television production experience working with major networks and production teams in scripted, reality, variety, music, event, talk, sports and game show formats, and a proven track record of negotiating, budgeting and executing with efficiency which will serve him well as we continue to grow,” said Thurlow.

Bock most recently was VP of production for ABC’s Alternative Series & Specials department. Prior to ABC, Bock held a variety of roles on productions for NBC, CBS, HBO, TNT, Warner Bros. Television and many others.

He began his career as an NBC page at The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, which led to his first television production role as a PA at Dick Clark Productions in 1989.
