Cash, Car Launch Season 3 Of ‘The Real’

The Real is turning to a time-honored gimmick to kick off its third season in daytime syndication later this month — a cash sweepstakes and car giveaway.

The daily panel-talk show, syndicated by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, is inaugurating two different sweepstakes. One will present one lucky viewer each week with $10,000 between Sept. 12 (the day The Real starts its new season) and Oct. 3. Another will award $500 each to other winning viewers every day during that same period.

The show announced the contests today.

The $10,000 contest has been dubbed “The Real Fan-Cash-Tic Giveaways” while the $500 giveaways come under the title of “Free Money, Honey.” Fans of the show can begin registering for the contests on Monday (Labor Day, Sept. 5) on TheReal.com, where the rules can also be found.

In addition to the cash prizes, the show’s contest announcement also said one lucky contestant will win a 2017 Ford Fusion Sport.

“We are excited to begin season three with the opportunity to give back to our fans,” said a prepared statement from the four co-hosts of The Real — Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley. “And what’s better than giving away money and a brand new car to those who need it the most? We’re so grateful that we have the opportunity to keep our fans’ hope ‘real’ with these amazing giveaways.”

“Our fans have been so loyal, and this is such a great way to ‘thank you,’ ” said executive producer Rachel Miskowiec. “It’s the perfect way to kick off an exciting new season of The Real.”
