FBI Denies Connection Of Massive Weapons Haul To Potential Attack On MLB All-Star Game

Denver’s FBI office said late on Sunday it does not believe the four people arrested with massive weaponry and body armor were planning an attack on Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game, set for Tuesday near the site of the arrests. The FBI Denver tweeted that it is not aware of any threat to the All-Star Game events, venues, players or the community at this time. However, it did not explain why the four arrestees had the weapons cache and body armor in the downtown Denver area.

‘Family Game Fight!’ Gets Post-Olympics Premiere

NBC penned in its special series debut after the Tokyo Olympics with Family Game Fight!, hosted by Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard. The reality game show series is set to premiere Sunday, Aug. 8 at 10:30 p.m. ET, immediately after the Olympics Closing Ceremony. There will be a time-period premiere with an all-new episode on Wednesday, Aug. 11 at 9 p.m. Ultimate Slip ‘N Slide was originally slated for the post-Closing Ceremony premiere with Family Game Fight! taking the Aug. 11 spot. However, due to a giardia outbreak during the water-based game show’s production, NBC ultimately decided to nix the premiere.
