A new Ion Media-commissioned Nielsen study confirms younger, more diverse audiences are increasingly turning to broadcast television.

Broadcast-Only TV Homes Up 3% In Last Year

The number of broadcast-only households in the U.S. has hovered between 11 and 11.2 million for the last three years. However, the first quarter of 2014 showed a big change. The number increased to over 11.6 million, an increase of 3% over 4Q 2013 and 4% over 1Q 2013.
