Comcast’s AudienceXpress Evaluating Use Of iSpot Data

Comcast Advertising’s AudienceXpress unit said it reached an agreement to work with iSpot and evaluate how iSpot’s syndicated national TV ratings can best be incorporated into the AudienceXpress platform. The companies said they were looking to bring new data sets to TV ad measurement, enhance performance TV marketing solutions and provide attribution reporting.

Comcast Advertising Taps James Rooke As New President

Comcast has named a new president of its advertising division, appointing industry veteran James Rooke to the role. Rooke steps into the position to replace former Comcast Advertising President Marcien Jenckes who is now heading up the Comcast-Charter joint venture to build a next-gen streaming platform. Rooke will report to Jenckes, who in addition to the JV role is also managing director of Comcast’s advertising group.

Comcast Advertising Appoints Growth Strategy VP

In the newly created role, Rick Mandler will be responsible for formulating growth marketing strategies across the Comcast Advertising portfolio.
