WMAQ Web Newscast Pushes Speed, Brevity
The Chicago NBC O&O’s daily Web-only two-minute newscast, Daily 5, spends 20 seconds on a story and 30 seconds on guest interviews. Alerts linking to the fast-paced noon webcast go out to between 15,000 and 20,000 email subscribers and can be found on all of the station’s apps.
