CBS is doing fans of Katherine Heigl’s quickly-canceled legal drama a solid by scheduling the series’ unaired episodes. Executive Producer Tony Phelan announced on Twitter that Doubt‘s 11 remaining episodes will air Saturdays at 8/7C beginning July 1.
The Katherine Heigl legal drama has been yanked off the schedule after just two airings. In its place, CBS will air Season 2 of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, beginning Wednesday, March 8, at 10 p.m.. (Next Wednesday, a Bull rerun will air in Doubt‘s former timeslot.)
The network announced Wednesday that it will schedule drama Ransom, an international co-production from executive producer Frank Spotnitz, for 8 p.m. Saturdays — making it the first CBS scripted series to air regularly on Saturday nights in-season in several years. The show will premiere Sunday, Jan. 1, at roughly 8:30 p.m., following an NFL double-header, then move to its regular Saturday-night time period the following week. CBS also revealed the premiere dates for two other new dramas: Training Day (Feb. 2) and Doubt (Feb. 15).
