Fox Cancels Three Comedies
Fox cleaned the comedy deck today, pulling the plug on freshman series Dads, Enlisted and Surviving Jack and passing on half-hour pilots Fatrick, Dead Boss and No Place Like Home.
The rookie comedy will swap time slots with veteran comedy Raising Hope starting Jan. 24.
The network said Thursday the move reflects confidence in the series and a desire to take advantage of promotional opportunities during the network’s winter sports telecasts. Wooing male viewers appears to be the network’s motivation for the switch.
