Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are in secret talks to move to CNN. Sources tell RadarOnline.com that CNN’s new boss Chris Licht, the man who made Joe and Mika morning TV stars on MSNBC, wants to bring the couple over to his new network. Licht joined MSNBC as an executive producer in 2005. He developed a close relationship with Scarborough and the two created Morning Joe.
NBCUniversal appears to be doing everything in its power to keep the most popular personalities on its cable news network. According to Insider, while Morning Joe co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are under contract for another year, they’re reportedly eyeing Rachel Maddow’s recent reported $30 million deal (she was making roughly $8 million per year), and according to Insider, they met with NBC News Group Chairman Cesar Conde last week to discuss next steps.

MSNBC Morning Joe hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski postponed a vacation in order to respond to President Donald Trump’s Twitter attack yesterday in an op-ed piece in today’s Washington Post headlined: “Donald Trump Is Not Well.”
In a series of morning tweets, the president went after Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough, who have criticized Trump on their MSNBC show Morning Joe. “I heard poorly rated @Morning Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore). Report: CBS Wants Scarborough, Brzezinski
Chris Licht, the well respected executive producer of MSNBC’s buzzy Morning Joe, is likely to announce that he is leaving the show to take the top spot on CBS’s struggling Early Show. But CBS has a bigger prize in mind with that possible hire, wooing Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski to come host that show when their contracts are up within the year.
Joe Scarborough, a co-host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, was briefly suspended Friday after Politico uncovered donations he had made to political candidates. Scarborough’s donations to friends and family members totaled $4,000. His suspension will keep him off Morning Joe for two days.
