Former Wash. Post Co. Pres. Larry Israel Dies

Larry H. Israel, a veteran media executive who served as president of The Washington Post Co. from 1973 to 1977, and led an expansion of the company’s radio and television holdings, died July 29 at a hospital in Bethesda, Md. He was 95.
