Fox Unveils Midseason Premieres Dates

Fox is looking to March for the return of its scripted slate. The network has unveiled its midseason schedule including the return of The Cleaning Lady, Alert: Missing Persons Unit and Animal Control. The trio of scripted shows are premiering at the beginning of March following the writers and actors strike. Elsewhere, Family Guy is moving to a midweek slot on Wednesdays after Animal Control, building out another comedy hour. It is thought to be the first time that Peter Griffin and family have aired midweek on Fox.

Walker and Walker Independence kick off the returns on Jan. 12 with other shows debuting through Feb. 11.

New series The Cleaning Lady, Pivoting and Monarch are also set for early 2022 premieres at the broadcaster.

CW Sets Its Midseason Premiere Dates

The CW will have an all-DC footprint on Tuesday nights in early 2022, with the second season of Superman & Lois helping to launch new series Naomi. Both shows will premiere in January, taking over the night from The Flash and Riverdale after their brief fall runs. The network has also a February premiere All American: Homecoming and dates for Dynasty, Kung Fu, Charmed and Two Sentence Horror Stories as part of its midseason slate. The Flash and Riverdale, meanwhile, will both move to new nights when they return in March.

Rookie dramas FBI: Most Wanted and Tommy and the final season of Criminal Minds are on tap for the winter.

The CW has set midseason premiere dates for its new series Katy Keene, along with the returns of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Roswell, New Mexico. Midseason also sees a move to Monday nights for remainder of the 15th and final season of Supernatural.
