MSNBC plans to air Morning Joe from its usual starting point at 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. now, pre-empting a 9 o’clock hour that had previously been earmarked for more traditional news coverage. The hour’s anchor, Stephanie Ruhle, is moving to lead The 11th Hour at 11 p.m. on the cable network.
MSNBC says Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski wed Saturday in a small ceremony attended by family and friends in Washington.
MSNBC Morning Joe hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski postponed a vacation in order to respond to President Donald Trump’s Twitter attack yesterday in an op-ed piece in today’s Washington Post headlined: “Donald Trump Is Not Well.”
In a series of morning tweets, the president went after Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough, who have criticized Trump on their MSNBC show Morning Joe. “I heard poorly rated @Morning Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore). I said no!”
The first couple of cable news Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are engaged to be married, sources confirm. The MSNBC Morning Joe co-hosts got engaged this past weekend during a romantic trip to the south of France and Monaco to celebrate Brzezinski’s 50th birthday.
Joe Scarborough’s Morning Joe on MSNBC with co-host Mika Brzezinski is a longtime obsession of cable-news fan Donald Trump, who has said that he derives much of his policy wisdom “from the shows.” It’s an odd position for Scarborough. The president-elect not only watches him — he calls him later.
Tom Brokaw is in good shape following a bit of a disconcerting morning for the veteran anchor. In Charlotte, N.C., for the Democratic National Convention, the 72-year-old newsman was due to appear on MSNBC’s Morning Joe when he felt light-headed and was taken to the hospital for evaluation. “After medical evaluation and a round of tests, Tom was pronounced in great health and has been discharged,” said NBC News President Steve Capus.
