The NBC News correspondent, who on Tuesday night received a lifetime achievement award during the 40th annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards, also discussed the recent impeachment inquiry.
The 40th edition of the News & Documentary Emmys were presented Tuesday night at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York with awards in 49 categories. The evening’s biggest winner was HBO with 10 awards (including one for I Am Evidence, above). PBS grabbed nine honors during the ceremony, and CBS came in third place with six win.
Andrea Mitchell is in the midst of her 42nd year as an NBC News journalist, and she will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 40th Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards later this year.
