Donald Trump is still very angry over the erroneous reporting about the financial losses at his Twitter clone, Truth Social, and in a new lawsuit filed Monday, the ex-president claimed that the reports were actually a vast media conspiracy involving “no less than 20 major media outlets.”
Some advertising-technology companies have cut ties with Newsweek Media Group over concerns about fake website traffic, another blow to the company as it contends with a wider fraud investigation.
Three were fired, and two others left in limbo, in a purge that targeted employees involved in coverage of Newsweek Media Group’s financial and legal troubles.
Newsweek and The Daily Beast will begin featuring 2012 presidential campaign coverage from NBC News beginning this month.
After a brief and interrupted dalliance, Newsweek, the 77-year-old magazine, and The Daily Beast, Tina Brown’s two-year-old website, have decided to put their cultural differences aside and will join forces. She will be editor-in-chief of both operations.
