After decades at NBC, Rebecca Marks is moving to become executive vice president, publicity and communications, Warner Bros. Television Group. In her new role at the evolving media giant Marks will oversee consumer publicity, corporate communications and awards season(s) offerings for WBTV and Warner Horizon Scripted Television properties, as well as unscripted and alternative television publicity, marketing and promotions for Warner Horizon Unscripted Television, Telepictures and Shed Media and more.
Longtime CBS PR executive Chris Ender has been named to the top communications post within CBS Entertainment Group. Ender fills the role left by Dana McClintock, who formally left CBS this week. McClintock announced his departure back in March, which coincided with the beginning of George Cheeks’ tenure leading CBS.
Publicity veteran Michelle Slavich is leaving Warner Bros. Pictures for Netflix. In her new role as VP publicity, Slavich will oversee the communications for the streamer’s series, film and documentary programming in the U.S. and Canada. She will report to Netflix communications chief Rachel Whetstone, with whom she previously worked at Google.
