A man who shot at a San Antonio news crew and his own family was killed by police after a standoff that lasted several hours Monday. KSAT reporter Dillon Collier and photographer Joshua Saunders were at the scene of a suspicious house fire when the man, who is believed to be a member of the family affected by the fire, came out of the house with two handguns and opened fire.
President Donald Trump slammed the news media once again as he rallied supporters at a demonstration outside the White House today, speaking just an hour before Congress is scheduled to begin a showdown over the certification of the 2020 presidential election. “The media is the biggest problem we have,” Trump said in the opening moments of his address to a crowd of tens of thousands in the National Mall at the “Save America” rally.
The Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) has condemned President Donald Trump’s latest attack on journalists, which he has long called the enemies of the people and allied with his Democratic opponents to bring down his Administration. WGAE’s more than 4,700 members include staffers in broadcast TV, radio and digital news.
