Comcast Raising Price Of TV, Internet & Home Protect Starting Next Week

Comcast started to inform customers in some markets of an upcoming price hike. Customers will see their bills go up on their base package plus fees like broadcast TV fees and regional sports fees will also be going up. The price of TV service will go up around $6 per month. There will also be about a $4 price hike on Comcast’s broadcast TV fees. Regional sports fees will go up about $1 a month. Bundles of premium channels will see prices rise between $2 and $4 a month, depending on the package. The price of internet will also be going up on average $4 a month across all of its internet packages. And home protection customers will see their bills rise by $5 a month.

Apple TV+ Raises Monthly Price To $10

Apple has hiked the price of its Apple TV+ streaming service for the second time in a year. The tech giant updated the pricing info for Apple TV+, along with its Apple Arcade and Apple News+ subscription services and Apple One bundles, on its website Wednesday. The new price of Apple TV+ is $9.99/month in the U.S., up from $6.99 previously. The annual price is increasing from $69 to $99 per year. Existing subscribers will see the price increases 30 days later, on their next billing renewal date.

YouTube TV Hikes Price by 12%, To $73 Per Month

In a notice to customers, YouTube TV said: “As content costs have risen and we continue to invest in our quality of service, we’ll be adjusting our monthly cost, after 3 years, from $64.99/mo to $72.99/mo, in order to bring you the best possible TV service.” New subscribers to YouTube TV will see the higher price effective Thursday (March 16), and existing members will see the price hike on their first monthly bill on or after April 18.
