The U.S. Senate confirmed three of President Joe Biden’s nominees to the CPB board of directors Tuesday night, two of whom will join the board for the first time: Ruby Calvert, Diane Kaplan and Kathy Im.
KCWC Casper-Riverton General Manager Ruby Calvert has announced her intention to retire by June 30, 2013. “It was a very difficult decision,” Calvert said during a Central Wyoming College Board of Trustees meeting. “It’s still difficult. But I think it’s a good time, for both me and the station.” Calvert has worked for the state’s sole public television station for 31 years.
