NCIS: Los Angeles is expanding its series finale to two episodes. The double series ender will air at 10 p.m. Sunday, May 14, the date previously announced as the series finale, and at 9 p.m. Sunday, May 21, on CBS. Following the May 21 episode, CBS will air A Salute to NCIS: Los Angeles an Entertainment Tonight special that takes a look back at the past 14 years of the series.
NBC says that America Ferrera will return for the series finale of Superstore on March 25. Details about her return are being kept quiet, although the network shared a first photo of Ferrera in the finale wearing the familiar blue vest of Cloud 9 workers. Ferrera, who was also a producer of Superstore, departed the series at the beginning of the current season (and before NBC announced it would end after six years).
The series following the extended Pritchett-Dunphy clan was an immediate sensation upon its 2009 debut. It holds the record with Frasier of five consecutive Emmy Awards as television’s best comedy.
