The executive is leaving after nine years at the broadcaster, including three at the top of the unscripted division.
She replaces Chris Castallo, who recently announced a summer exit. Vuong, who joined CBS in 2011 as department director, will now serve as CBS Entertainment SVP — reporting directly to Glenn Geller.
