TV Is Everywhere, At Least At CES
The Consumer Electronics Show officially kicked off this morning and already pay TV and content providers have announced some new toys, services and tactics.
The IAC and Barry Diller-backed startup’s CEO Chet Kanojia speaking at last week’s VideoSchmooze conference in New York told the audience that Aereo is planning to launch apps for a variety of smart TVs shortly, and for adjunct TV devices, including the Roku, as well as possibly game consoles.
Consumers Catching Up With Smart TV Apps
While desired apps for new smart TV come from the most popular online destinations, such as Netflix, YouTube and Facebook, many consumers are still not familiar about the functions of these new TV sets.
