The government should draw up plans to have every channel, including those from the BBC, broadcast over the Internet, freeing up the spectrum for other uses such as mobile phones, the House of Lords suggested today.
A new timetable says the FCC will need to identify the spectrum it’s reclaiming for wireless broadband by mid-2011 and start moving broadcasters to new locations by 2Q 2013.
