YouTube Drops 15-Minute Limit On Video

YouTube today announced that it would allow users “with a history of complying with the YouTube Community Guidelines and [the service’s] copyright rules” to upload original content that runs longer than 15 minutes. YouTube said the move was made possible by improvements in its Content ID system.
