KBLR Las Vegas Holds Ribbon Cutting

On Jan. 30, Telemundo’s KBLR Las Vegas held a ribbon cutting to commemorate the unveiling of its new 22,622 sq. ft. media center in the presence of Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak, Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft, local community leaders, NBC and Telemundo stations executives and colleagues. Telemundo Las Vegas aired its first newscast from its new studios on Sept. 23, 2019.

“As the city of Las Vegas grows so does our station, and this building is a testament of that,” said Ramiro Lopez, president and general manager, Telemundo Las Vegas. “We’re excited to be able to share this milestone with all of you.”

The debut of Telemundo Las Vegas’ new facility follows the unveiling of other new or revamped local TV station facilities by NBC and Telemundo owned stations in Los Angeles (KNBC/KVEA) Dallas-Fort Worth (KXAS/KXTX), West Hartford (WVIT/WRDM), Denver (KDEN), San Antonio (KVDA), McAllen (KTLM) , San Diego (KNSD/KUAN), Philadelphia (WCAU/WWSI) and the new NBCUniversal Boston Media Center in Boston.

Telemundo Las Vegas is part of NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations, a division of NBCUniversal.
