DirecTV And Tegna Reach Distribution Deal Ending Blackout

The new multiyear agreement covers the station group’s 64 owned stations in 51 markets and ends the blackout that began Nov. 30, 2023.

DirecTV and Tegna have reached a new multi-year distribution agreement covering Tegna’s 64 owned stations in 51 Nielsen designated markets.

All stations and programming returned to DirecTV, DirecTV STREAM and U-verse customers Saturday, Jan. 13. They have been off those services since Nov. 30, 2023.

DirecTV and Tegna said they “greatly appreciate the patience of their subscribers and viewers.”
