KCEN-KAGS Names Ernesto Romero Director Of Sales

KCEN and KAGS, the Tegna-owned NBC affiliates in Temple and Bryan, Texas, has appointed Ernesto Romero director of sales.

For the last five years, he has been a local sales manager of KENS San Antonio, Texas. Before that, he was an account executive for KSAT San Antonio.

Romero started his sales career in television at Telemundo’s KVDA San Antonio in 2010. Romero will join KCEN-KAGS on Monday, Oct. 2.

“Ernesto showed his desire to lead the KCEN and KAGS sales teams by volunteering to come to Temple to provide leadership during the director of sales search”, said Rob Dwyer, president-GM of KCEN-KAGS. “We are thrilled to welcome him to our team and believe he is the perfect person to lead our team and work with our partners to achieve their goals.”

Romero will lead the KCEN-KAGS television sales efforts, including the 2024 Summer Olympics and political season. He will also oversee digital sales for KCENTV.com, KAGSTV.com and the customer-focused Premion product.
