The Ellen DeGeneres Show‘s host, Ellen DeGeneres, and studio, Warner Bros., have spoken out about the recent complaints against the workplace environment on the popular daytime syndicated talk show. In a statement on behalf of WB and DeGeneres, the studio confirmed that it has conducted an internal inquiry, interviewing current and former Ellen employees about their experience following a recent BuzzFeed report alleging a toxic work culture on the show.

Members of Writers Guild of America have ratified a new, three-year deal with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers with virtually no opposition. The WGA membership overwhelmingly voted in favor of ratifying the contract by 98% with 4,068 “yes” votes and 87 “no” votes. The term of the agreement is retroactive from May 2, 2020, through May 1, 2023.

CBS All Access is getting an infusion of new programming as it preps for a rebrand in 2021. The service will add more than 3,500 episodes from the Viacom family of networks, including BET, Comedy Central, MTV and Nickelodeon. To accommodate the new programming, All Access will get a design refresh that places an emphasis on the different brands. The price is expected to stay the same, starting at $6 per month with ads.

America’s Got Talent dropped to a season low TV rating once again, as ABC aired a tribute to Regis Philbin in the same time slot. The NBC singing show scored a 0.9 rating among adults 18-49, an 18% dip from the previous episode from two weeks ago. A total of 6.1 million viewers watched AGT, which was the largest audience on the night, but also represents a 1.5 million viewer loss from the previous edition.
