ViewLift Hires Chance Mason As VP Global GTM Strategy

Digital content distribution platform ViewLift has appointed Chance Mason as VP global GTM strategy.

He has been in the digital media business for over 20 years, holding senior management roles driving global sales, product development and business strategy.

Mason joins from Quickplay, where he was head of strategic accounts/strategy. Prior to this, Mason worked at Videon, Qumu, Haivision and Piksel.

He started his career at Multicast Media Networks, one of the first SaaS online video platforms managing thousands of live events per month for enterprise, media and education.

Mason says: “I’ve long been an admirer of ViewLift’s platform, leadership and market momentum. I’m very excited to be joining the company at a time when entertainment and sports companies are continuing their digital transformation journeys, providing ViewLift with strong global growth opportunities.

“A particular opportunity for ViewLift is that we combine carrier-grade solutions with high levels of ongoing service management, and we can deploy in weeks rather than months: the total opposite of the ‘sell and leave’ and lengthy integration approach of many of our competitors. I look forward to helping ensure that ViewLift continues to travel along its fast growth curve — enabled by working with new customers such as the NHL, Monumental Sports, the current Stanley Cup champions, the Vegas Golden Knights and LIV Golf,” he concluded.

BRAND CONNECTIONS

Rick Allen, CEO, ViewLift, says: “I’m delighted that Chance is bringing his proven 20-plus years’ experience and technical expertise to help drive the next wave of success at ViewLift. The whole ViewLift team is looking forward to working with him to ensure that we continue to empower media and entertainment excellence. Our customers can make the most of their streaming opportunities, increasingly creating new avenues for leagues, teams and content owners to reach viewers in the rapidly evolving sports and media world.”
