Transactional Sales Manager

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transactional Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team.

As a Transactional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for handling national and regional advertising dollars and implementing strategies to grow market share through effective buys.

You will play a critical role in driving revenue and building strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage national and regional advertising budgets and develop sales strategies to maximize revenue.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients to expand market share.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, advertising, and operations, to develop customized advertising solutions that meet client objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at client organizations.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to identify opportunities for growth and develop innovative sales approaches.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients.
• Monitor and track sales performance, providing regular reports and updates to senior management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in the advertising landscape to remain competitive in the market.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the company’s values and brand in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of success in transactional sales, preferably in the advertising or media industry.
• Strong understanding of national and regional advertising markets and trends.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective sales strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a results-driven mindset.

• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.

We are looking for a Meteorologist who can coordinate severe weather coverage, tell compelling weather stories during slow weather periods, and will be comfortable, relaxed in their delivery and presentation.

You will…

• Forecast weather for evening station broadcasts
• Cover severe weather accurately, and urgently without causing unnecessary worry for viewers
• Post weather updates online and on social media

You have…

• 2-3 years experience as a weather anchor or weather reporter preferred
• AMS or NWA seal of approval preferred
• Strong interest in covering severe weather
• Familiar with TWC Max platform
