WRAL-WRAZ Announces Weather Team Lineup

Capitol Broadcasting’s NBC affiliate WRAL Raleigh, N.C. (DMA 25) has a new on-air weather team.

Elizabeth Gardner will continue to lead WRAL and co-owned Fox affil WRAZ’s weather coverage on weekdays in the morning and noon news. Mike Maze will lead the weekday evenings at 5, 6, and 10 on Fox 50 and 11 p.m. on WRAL.

Kat Campbell will join evenings with Maze at 4 and 5:30 from Wednesday to Friday and continue on weekend evenings. Starting in the fall, Campbell will become a mainstay for the 4 and 5:30 p.m. weekday news.

Aimee Wilmoth will appear on the new 9 a.m. newscast on WRAZ. Peta Sheerwood will continue on WRAL weekend mornings.

An announcement on a new weekend evening meteorologist will be released later this year.
