Jeff Zucker’s Latest Bet: Prestige TV

The former CNN president and onetime executive producer of Today, is investing in Media Res, the independent Hollywood studio behind the hit prestige dramedy The Morning Show on Apple TV+. It’s the latest gamble by Zucker in his effort to build a mini media empire for RedBird IMI, the venture company he founded in 2022.

Dylan Massin Joins Sony Pictures TV As Head Of Production; Adam Moos Expands Role

Veteran producer Dylan Massin (The West Wing) has been named EVP of production for Sony Pictures Television Studios. Massin (left), who reports to SPTS President Katherine Pope, assumes the head of production role from Ed Lammi, who retired in December after a 36-year career at the studio. Massin will oversee all physical production for the U.S. scripted studio, including pre-production/budgeting, production, and post-production teams. Additionally, SPTS’ SVP of Production Adam Moos (right) has been promoted to SVP of production and head of production operations, reporting to Massin. Both Massin and Moos begin their new roles today.

Jimmy Kimmel has responded to Aaron Rodgers‘ comments about the latenight host’s potential connection to the list of Jeffrey Epstein‘s associates. During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, the New York Jets quarterback suggested that Kimmel was among those named on the Epstein list, saying, “There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, really hoping that doesn’t come out.” Kimmel took to X to dismiss Rodgers’ claim about his connection to Epstein, writing, “Dear Aasshole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any ‘list’ other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality. Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court.”
