Fox Soul Renews ‘Portia’ For Season 2

Fox Soul has renewed Portia for season 2. Hosted by Portia Bruner, this half-hour lifestyle program will be available to stream back-to-back episodes on Fox Soul weekdays at 7 p.m. ET this fall. In addition, Portia will air on Fox O&O WAGA Atlanta at 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. ET.

D’Artagnan Bebel, Fox Soul GM and head of programming, said: “Following a successful first season, it was a no-brainer to bring ‘Portia’ back and expand with an extra half-hour. Portia’s distinctive voice, authenticity, and commitment to spreading positivity have proven to resonate with our audience and we share their excitement for her return this Fall.”

Portia is a weekday lifestyle program focused on serving the interests of Black women across America, covering a variety of topics including faith, family issues, health, fitness, diet, community issues and other issues that impact communities across the country. Each episode presents an in-depth discussion of a single subject with expertise provided from guests who weigh in from all over the country. Kathy Sapp (Judge Alex, Judge Faith, Girlfriends Check In) will continue as executive producer.
