WEEKLY SYNDICATION RATINGS ROUNDUP

‘Inside Edition’ Moves Up, Tops The Mags

It sets the pace in the entertainment magazine genre with a 4% rise to a new season-high 2.8.

The Kelly Clarkson Show and Tamron Hall continued to outperform all of the season’s rookies, widening their lead over the pack in the session ending Oct. 13.

Impressively, they did it despite an intentional power cut to nearly 1 million households in Northern California as well as preemptions for breaking news coverage of the West Coast wildfires in markets including Los Angeles on Oct. 10 and 11.

Clarkson remained the one to beat, improving 8% from the previous stanza to a three-week high 1.4 live-plus-same-day national Nielsen, and was syndication’s No. 1 new show by a wide margin, grabbing more than 1.8 million daily viewers.

Also scoring well, Hall held on to its season-high 1.0 and packed in more than 1.2 million viewers each day.

Further back, Mel Robbins, the third rookie talker, added 33% to a 0.4 but trailed the leaders with slightly under 500,000 daily viewers.

Among the new court shows, Jerry Springer’s Judge Jerry remained ahead of the field by a wide margin, even though it took a 10% breather to a 0.9 in its fifth trial.
