NESN And Boston Bruins Pay Tribute To Long-Time Announcer Dale Arnold

NESN and the Boston Bruins paid tribute to the career of long-time announcer, Dale Arnold, in Tuesday’s game against the Washington Capitals. Arnold, will be retiring from NESN’s broadcast at the end of the Bruins’ playoff run.

The long-time Maine resident entertained fans for 24 total years on NESN starting as a play-by-play announcer for the Bruins in the 1995-96 season through the 2006-2007 season. Arnold then transitioned to studio host for Bruins telecasts on NESN beginning in the 2011-12 season.

The three-time New England Emmy winner is the only person in Boston sports history to do play-by-play for all five of New England’s major pro sports teams, NESN said.

Arnold’s tribute video that was played in TD Garden and on NESN can be seen here.
