CJP Broadcast Adds To Its Engineering Team

Multimedia systems integrator, equipment specialist and service provider CJP Broadcast Service Solutions has hired Joseph Franklin. A BsC (1st class Hons) graduate in television production technology, he will be active with CJP colleagues across a variety of projects.

“Joe is a very bright and enthusiastic broadcast engineer with proven talent at the cutting edge of robotic camera system development,” said CJP Broadcast founder and MD Chris Phillips. “His initial role will be in supporting our live video production activity which has expanded rapidly in recent months. As he gains experience, he will progress into wider areas of system integration and technical support.”

Franklin’s three-year degree studies at Solent University included the development of a camera tracking system using passive infrared sensors. Designed for sports applications such as football and athletics, it received a commendation for the Anna Valley Project Prize.

He also gained work experience at BBC Southampton and as a camera operator and vision engineer at various public events.
