Arleda James Named WHBQ Director of Sales

Cox-owned Fox affiliate WHBQ Memphis (DMA 51) on Wednesday appointed Arleda James as its new director of sales, effective June 24, 2019.
Bringing more than a decade of television sales management experience, the station said James “will lead strategic sales development with a focus on enhancing customer experience and setting a clear vision for the future of the team while driving consistency of revenue delivery for Fox13 Memphis.”
James joins from WSOC Charlotte, N.C., where she was local sales manager. Prior to her time with WSOC, she was local sales manager at WFOX Jacksonville, Fla.
She began her sales career as an account manager with Savannah Morning News in Savannah, Ga., before moving on to WSAV there.
