Entertainment Studios Nets Picked Up In Caribbean

Entertainment Studios announced today that the Caribbean Cable Cooperative will offer all six Entertainment Studios HD networks (Cars.TV, Comedy.TV, ES.TV, MyDestination.TV, Pets.TV, and Recipe.TV).

The Caribbean Cable Cooperative Ltd. is a buying cooperative for the English-speaking cable television companies in the Caribbean and Atlantic basins. The Co-op supports its member companies with programming at a lower cost through the combined buying power of hundreds of thousands of customers, as well as direct negotiations with copyright holders for programming not presently licensed in the Caribbean.

The Co-op was established in April 1997 by a group of cable companies in the Caribbean and the Atlantic Basin and currently has more than 27 member companies, representing 33 cable systems in 23 countries and more than 500,000 cable customers. Members now pay wholesale fees that are comparable to cable operators in the U.S.
