WEEKLY SYNDICATION RATINGS ROUNDUP

‘Feud,’ ‘Judy’ Rule First Full Week Of Sweep

In the frame ending Feb. 12, much of first-run posted flat ratings from the previous week. The game show and magazine genres the exceptions.

Family Feud and Judge Judy were easily the two highest-rated shows in syndication and took major Nielsen honors in the session ending Feb. 12, a frame that included the first complete week of the important February sweep.

Feud hit a series best, while daytime queen Judy earned its second highest number of the season for the second week in a row, almost five rating point ahead of the No. 2 court show.

Feud added 4% to a 7.7 live-plus-same-day national Nielsen, topping the game shows for the 42nd straight frame.

Judy ruled the courtrooms for the 1,064th consecutive week, notching a hefty 7.5. That matched the week before and was 188% ahead of its closest judicial rival, which was Judy creation Hot Bench at a 2.6.

Elsewhere in the daypart, Dr. Phil rose 5% to a new season high 4.0 and trounced the talkers for the 23rd week in a row. Compared to last year at this time, Phil was up the most of any talker, improving 14%.

Ellen DeGeneres and Live with Kelly were both unchanged for the week, finishing second and third at 2.4 and 2.3, respectively.
