Let’s not make too much of this person. She has misgivings about Wheeler’s net neutrality rules but votes for them anyway. That’s just a partisan hack.

Voting for a Notice of Proposed Rule Making is not the same thing as voting to adopt specific rules. Get your facts straight.

Rules or a rule making is nothing more than a ridiculous quibble. The fact that Ms. Rosenworcel voted for something she had reservations about is what matters. But this is how one gets ahead in D.C.– fully support your boss’s and/or party’s objectives while not making trouble. Jessica has done both very well and been rewarded accordingly. Nothing remarkable about that.

The fact that there are contrasting proposals/questions posed in the NPRM, including the “fast lane” Wheeler proposal and Title II regulation indicates that it might be more than a quibble. What matters is the end results – i.e., the rules adopted, not the vote to initiate the rule making. It remains to be seen what her role in the final net neutrality rules might be.
