MFM Adds BCCA Sales Dir., Membership Exec

The Media Financial Management Association has promoted Arcelia Pimentel to director of sales for its BCCA subsidiary, the media industry’s credit association. Pimentel has been with the organization for more than 18 years, serving most recently as its membership manager.

Assuming Pimentel’s membership services responsibilities will be Caitlin Hahne, who has joined the organization as membership coordinator. Hahne comes to MFM/BCCA from Econ Illinois, formerly known as the Illinois Council on Economic Education, where she worked as an intern in the council’s development and marketing department.

“Arcelia Pimentel is the perfect person to head up our BCCA sales program,” said Mary M. Collins, President-CEO of MFM and BCCA. “Her membership services role and experiences as a BCCA credit investigator have been instrumental in the recent enhancements we have made to the very programs that she will now be selling to the industry, including EMCAPP, the Electronic Media Credit Applications, and BCCA’s expanded credit report offerings.”

Prior to her appointment as director of sales for BCCA, Pimentel was responsible for the association’s membership services programs, serving as membership manager from 2006 to 2014 and as membership coordinator for two years before that. She joined the organization in 1996 as a BCCA credit investigator. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she earned a B.S. in marketing.

Caitlin Hahne joins MFM as membership coordinator following a six-month internship at Econ Illinois with the organization’s director of development and marketing. Prior to that, she was a development/marketing intern for the Feed ’em Soup Community Project in DeKalb, Ill. This past May she graduated from The Northern Illinois University’s Center for NGO Leadership & Development with a B.S. in community leadership and civic engagement.
