Michelle Relerford Joins WMAQ Chicago News
Michelle Relerford will join NBC O&O WMAQ Chicago (DMA 3) as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor effective Sept. 6. Relerford comes to WMAQ from WHDH Boston where she is a weekend anchor and reporter. She joined the station in 2007.
Prior to that she was a freelance reporter at WFLD Chicago. Earlier in her career she was an anchor/reporter at WEWS Cleveland, a reporter at WNDU South Bend, Ind., and at WBOC Salisbury, Md.
Relerford has a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and English from the University of Connecticut.
