Never.no Brings Vine, Instagram To Live TV

Never.no has integrated Vine and Instagram Video into its flagship Interactivity Suite (IS), a toolkit for creating the technical backbone of social TV and multiscreen engagements. Now broadcasters and advertisers that use the never.no IS or “Sync” Ad platform will be able to push and pull user generated data from Vine and Instagram video into their live programming and companion apps.

As social media usage continues to become a more widespread peripheral to television watching behaviors, new formats of interactivity and engagement across screens will give rise to far more enhanced experiences that make use of the latest in social media platforms. The spread of short-form video is a natural extension for TV that Vine and Instagram Video make possible.

Never.no’s Vine and Instagram Video integration gives broadcasters the ability incorporate short action videos in multiple areas of TV content. In addition to broadcasters, advertisers will also be able to use user-generated video content in real time TV ad placements.

There are numerous implications with the integration that broadcasters can take advantage of, from being able to use real-time videos for news programming, to brand new creative formats that can be imagined for novel programming. The same is echoed for the advertising world, which will have the ability to engineer creative brand engagements in real time across screens.
