Rentrak Corp. today announced a multi-year, multi-market expansion of its partnership with Raycom Media.

The new contract adds KCBD (NBC) Lubbock, Texas; KFVS (CBS) Paducah, Ky.-Cape-Girardeau, Mo.; KSLA (CBS) Shreveport, Miss.; WECT (NBC) and WSFX (Fox) Wilmington, N.C.; and WDBD (Fox) Jackson, Miss.

Raycom began its partnership with Rentrak in 2010 with two stations, WBTV (CBS) Charlotte, N.C., and WBRC (Fox) Birmingham, Ala.

Over the past 30 months, Raycom has continued to expand the partnership, as it now uses Rentrak’s TV audience insights at 30 local stations in 23 television markets.

Wayne Daugherty, COO at Raycom Media said: “Rentrak offers the demographics, psychographics and purchase information to help our customers get a far deeper and more relevant understanding of which programs not only deliver more viewers, but critically how to best target these viewers using their specific purchasing behavior.”
