Collin Gaston remains GM of the group’s WBRC Birmingham, Ala., and will now have oversight of WSFA Montgomery, Ala.; WTXL Tallahassee, Fla.; WPGX Panama City, Fla.; and WDFX Dothan, Ala.
Raycom Names Gaston Regional Group VP
Raycom Media today named Collin R. Gaston regional group vice president, with oversight of WSFA Montgomery, Ala.; WTXL Tallahassee, Fla.; WPGX Panama City, Fla.; and WDFX Dothan, Ala. He will continue in his current role of VP-GM of WBRC Birmingham, Ala.
Gaston originally joined Raycom Media in 2007 as general sales manager of WSFA Montgomery and was elevated to VP-GM in 2011.
In 2015, Gaston was again promoted to VP-GM of WBRC Birmingham, with additional oversight responsibilities for WDFX and WPGX.
“We are proud of Collin’s proven track record in our markets and know his experience and knowledge will help this group of stations thrive,” stated Raycom Media President and CEO Pat LaPlatney.
Prior to joining Raycom Media, Gaston held a variety of sales and sales management roles at stations including WJAX and WFOX in Jacksonville, and WTXL in Tallahassee.
Gaston serves on the board of the Alabama Broadcasting Association.
