WXIX Launches Investigative Reporting Unit

Hagit Limor, Amy Wagner, Scott Schneider, Matt Nordin and a producer will staff the Fox19 Investigative Reporting Unit at Raycom’s Fox affiliate in Cincinnati.

Raycom Media-owned Fox affiliate WXIX Cincinnati (DMA 35) has added Hagit Limor as an investigative reporter.  Limor joins the station from the I-Team at the market’s ABC affiliate, WCPO, where she worked for 19 years. Hagit will join recent hire Amy Wagner, newly named evening anchor Scott Schneider, investigative reporter Matt Nordin and a soon-to-be-hired investigative producer to form the new Fox19 Investigative Reporting Unit.

Hagit is currently an assistant professor of electronic media at the University of Cincinnati, a position she will keep while investigating stories for WXIX.

Her colleague Scott Schneider has also been named anchor for The Fox19 Evening News at 6:30 and The Fox19 10 O’Clock News. Schneider will co-anchor both newscasts with Tricia Macke. In addition to his investigative reporting role and manning the anchor desk with Macke, Schneider will be contributing to the station’s Reality Check segments.

Schneider joined WXIX in May after anchoring for 14 years at WFMJ Youngstown, Ohio.
