WZZM Names Dan Harland As A.M. Co-Anchor

Gannett ABC affiliate WZZM Grand Rapids, MIch. (DMA 39), has chosen as its new morning co-anchor Dan Harland. He replaces Derek Francis, who left at end of May. Harland will join Lauren Stanton and meteorologist Aaron Ofseyer in early August. 

Harland attended Southern Illinois University and joined WZZM in 2003 as a multimedia journalist and sports reporter and has been working on the station’s Friday night high school football show 13 On Your Sidelines.

Harland will begin his new morning co-anchor role on Thursday, Aug. 7.  The weekday morning news runs from 5 to 7. He will continue to be a co-host of 13 On Your Sidelines.
