WVUE Taps Andy Delaporte As Sales Director

Raycom Media’s Fox affiliate WVUE New Orleans (DMA 50) has hired industry veteran Andy Delaporte as its first director of sales. This move comes after a station sales team reorganization.

Most recently Delaporte was the general manager of KPTV Portland, Ore. He spent the decade prior in KPTV’s sales department as the national sales manager, local sales manager and general sales manager.

Prior to his television career, Delaporte worked in the radio, spending 13 years representing an eight-station radio cluster in Portland owned by Entercom Communications.

Delaporte started his career in New York City working with a national firm as a media buyer.

He holds a BA from Hobart College in New York.
